Three-Panel Painting Sets: Six Designs, Three Finishes, and How to Choose
You have a long, empty stretch of wall above the sofa or the bed, and a single canvas never quite fills it. A three-panel set can, but once you open the collection you meet a different question: which of the designs, and which finish? Here is how to narrow down our six currently available three-panel sets without second-guessing yourself.
What a three-panel set actually is
Each set is one original, hand-painted artwork split across three canvases. The Rocky listing describes it well: it comes as a set of three, yet looks like one whole painting when the panels hang together. Every piece is painted by hand on artist linen canvas and includes a certificate of authenticity, with small differences from handwork, as each listing notes.
That split gives you a wide, horizontal shape without one huge, heavy canvas. All six sets below are tagged Horizontal and Triptych, so they suit wide walls.
Six sets, six moods
| Set | Palette and feel |
|---|---|
| Beach at Night | Deep aqua and brown. A quiet, melancholic shoreline with no sunlight, only crashing waves. |
| Castaway | Deep blue, gray and white. An ocean sunset with a lonely, maritime atmosphere. |
| Covered in Rust | Brown and blue. A special technique makes the surface look as if it is covered in a layer of rust. |
| Nebula | Aqua, brown and gray. Many layers of paint create a sense of depth, like looking at the Milky Way. |
| Shining Star | Gold on a textured surface, with a composition that pulls the eye to the star. |
| Rocky | Warm brown, gray and white. The rough colors of rugged rocky regions. |
Match the set to the room
Calm bedroom or reading corner: Beach at Night and Castaway lean quiet and moody. Castaway's listing also carries Bedroom, Dining Room and Living Room tags.
Neutral living room: Rocky and Covered in Rust sit in earthy browns and grays, so they sit easily beside wood, linen and stone tones.
A room that needs one focal point: Shining Star is the most dramatic of the six, with gold and texture. Nebula works similarly through layered depth rather than shine.
Choose the finish, then the size
Every set comes in three finishes: Rolled Canvas (ships rolled in a protective tube, with a 2–5 inch white border for stretching or framing locally), Frameless (stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang, no outer frame) and Custom Frame (framed, ready to hang). Our finish guide goes deeper on that choice.
Each of these six sets offers eight sizes, from 20×16 in (50×40 cm) to 60×40 in (150×100 cm). Prices at this writing are the same across all six, so your choice can follow the art rather than the price tag. Live examples from the product pages:

A quick way to decide
- Pick the mood first: quiet and moody, earthy and neutral, or bold and bright.
- Pick the finish by how you will hang it: Frameless or Custom Frame if you want to hang it on arrival, Rolled Canvas if you already have a framer or stretcher.
- Pick the size last. Measure the wall space and compare it with the size on the product page. If you are unsure how the three panels will sit within a listed size, ask us through the Contact page before you order. Custom sizes are also possible by asking.
