Halloween Canvas Wall Art: How to Choose the Right Design, Format and Size
It is October, the candy bowl is half-planned, and one corner of the house still looks like a regular Tuesday. A Halloween canvas can fix that without turning the room into a prop closet. The question is which one, and how big. Here is how we think about choosing from our Halloween canvas prints.
What you are buying
Our Halloween designs are printed canvas, not hand-painted originals. The painterly look is reproduced as a printed image, so there is no raised texture. Each canvas is gallery-wrapped around a 1.5-inch-deep wood inner frame with no outer decorative frame. Props like furniture, candy and styling accessories in the photos are not included.
The collection includes two kinds of listing, and we keep adding designs, so check Halloween Wall Art for what is available now:
- Single canvases: one canvas per order, offered in several sizes that all keep the same 2:3 portrait artwork (width × height), so a bigger size is never a cropped picture.
- Sets of 3: three equal-size canvases that connect across the panels, arranged left to right as shown. On these listings, the size you pick refers to each panel, not the whole set.
Sizes and prices are on each product page, so you always see the current ones.
Match the design to the spot
These are some of the designs we would reach for, and the spot each one suits:
Candy station or snack table: Midnight Apple Fizz. A sparkling green apple drink, ghost cookies and a moonlit purple backdrop. It already looks like a party.
Entryway: Ghost at the Pumpkin Porch. A little ghost, a glowing pumpkin porch and sunset color. It reads as a welcome, which is what you want where trick-or-treaters arrive.
Movie-night corner: October Small-Town Cinema. An amber marquee and blue twilight on a rainy night, with little ghosts heading in.
A cat person's wall: Black Cat & the Last Candy. A watchful black cat, a crescent moon and one last treat. Quietly playful rather than scary.
A rustic or Western-leaning room: Moonlit Pumpkin Wagon. A ghostly covered wagon under a crescent moon, with pumpkins and prairie grass.
A house with kids, or a sense of humor: Sweet & Spooky Zombie Friends. A jiangshi-inspired character and a Western zombie share candy on a leaf-strewn porch.
A wider wall, with a story: the three-panel sets. Midnight Sweeper follows a flying broom and bats across three panels, and Midnight Shadow Theatre plays out a witch silhouette and two tiny mice working a paper puppet. For sets, measure the wall for all three panels together, plus the gaps you want between them.
Choosing the size
Our product pages say it plainly: measure your wall before ordering. As a general guide for single canvases:
- The smallest size suits a shelf, ledge or small stretch of wall. It is a good first Halloween canvas, and the easiest to store afterwards.
- A mid size is a comfortable entryway or hallway piece, and holds its own over a console table.
- The largest size is the statement choice. Pick it when the canvas is the only seasonal thing in the room.
If you want a small group of single canvases, remember they share the same 2:3 shape, so they hang neatly side by side.
Timing, honestly
These are made to order. The product pages list normal production time, and shipping time is added on top. If you need one to arrive by a particular date, contact us before ordering. Halloween does not move, so it is worth ordering early rather than the week of.
